Tetapi, tempat kerja juga boleh menjadi satu bentuk jaring keselamatan sekiranya individu tahu bagaimana untuk mengawalnya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mari kita belajar bagaimana melakukan regulasi kendiri di tempat kerja sebagai individu dengan ADHD melalui entri kali ini!<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Ketidakstabilan Emosi (<\/b><b><i>Emotional Dysregulation<\/i><\/b><b>): Perjalanan Roller Coaster<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ketidakstabilan emosi ibarat menaiki roller coaster tanpa memakai tali pinggang keselamatan. Individu mungkin akan berasa sangat bersemangat (di peringkat tertinggi roller coaster) atau tiba-tiba berasa sangat kecewa (di peringkat terendah roller coaster). Sebagai contoh, rakan sekerja mengambil <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stapler<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> anda tanpa kebenaran. Nampak macam perkara remeh, namun ini adalah realiti individu dewasa dengan ADHD di tempat kerja.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kajian menunjukkan individu dewasa dengan ADHD sering mengalami reaksi emosi yang berlebihan, perubahan mood secara tiba-tiba, dan juga toleransi yang rendah terhadap kekecewaan. Perubahan emosi yang selalunya berlaku secara tiba-tiba boleh menyukarkan individu untuk melakukan tugasan kerja dan menghalang mereka daripada membina hubungan yang efektif dan bermakna di tempat kerja.\u00a0<\/span><b><\/b><\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Hubungan Sosial yang Tersilap? &#8211; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pernahkah anda menjadi pusat perhatian di tempat kerja secara tidak sengaja? Individu dewasa dengan ADHD sering menyalah tafsir isyarat sosial (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">social cues<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) di tempat kerja yang boleh menyebabkan mereka salah faham akan interaksi yang sedang berlaku. Ketidakselarasan dan salah tafsiran ini boleh menyebabkan individu berada dalam situasi yang tegang di tempat kerja. Untuk mengenali dan memproses emosi dengan betul, individu perlu melakukan latihan yang berterusan untuk memahaminya &#8211; dan juga melibatkan rakan kerja yang dapat memahami situasi mereka. Peserta kajian mengenai ADHD dan isyarat sosial di tempat kerja menyatakan:<\/span><\/li><\/ul><pre><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMasalah utama saya\u2026adalah mulut saya! Saya selalu bercakap mengenai perkara yang saya tidak sepatutnya bicarakan, atau bercakap di waktu yang salah. Ia terasa janggal\u2026. Dan saya selalu rasa saya tidak <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fit,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d<\/span><br \/><b><\/b><\/pre><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Kekeliruan Fungsi Eksekutif (<\/b><b><i>Executive Dysfunction)<\/i><\/b><b> &#8211; <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Defisit utama yang menyumbang kepada kekeliruan fungsi eksekutif ialah memori kerja (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">working memory<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) yang lemah di mana individu merasakan semua tugas adalah penting dan menyebabkan kesukaran dalam memilih tugas mana yang patut didahulukan. Selain itu, individu dengan ADHD mungkin mengalami apa yang dikenali sebagai \u2018buta masa\u2019 di tempat kerja, iaitu keadaan dimana mereka menjadikan &#8216;ekspektasi masa\u2019 sebagai panduan, yang menyebabkan mereka kadang-kadang tidak mula melakukan tugasan dan melakukannya pada saat-saat akhir. Saya adalah orang yang paling tidak teratur di tempat kerja!\u201d<\/span><b><i><\/i><\/b><\/pre><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b><i>Imposter Syndrome<\/i><\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Individu dewasa dengan ADHD pastinya akan bergelut dengan perasaan bahawa dirinya tidak cukup atau tidak pantas untuk melakukan sesuatu tugas. Ini adalah salah satu bentuk kekurangan keyakinan diri. Menurut kajian, ditempat kerja individu dengan ADHD akan juga bergelut dengan jangkaan sosial daripada rakan sekerja dan penyelia. Ini menyebabkan mereka sering meragui diri sendiri disebabkan fungsi emosi yang tidak sama seperti orang lain. Satu peserta kajian mengenai masalah keyakinan diri menyatakan:\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><pre><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSaya selalu dibetulkan, setiap masa\u2026 oleh mak saya, oleh sekolah. Apabila saya sering dibetulkan bila saya melakukan sesuatu yang tidak sepatutnya saya lakukan, ianya susah untuk saya. Tak boleh pilih semua ke?<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kelesuan dari membuat keputusan merujuk kepada keadaan di mana seseorang merasa keletihan atau kehabisan tenaga akibat proses yang berpanjangan atau terlalu banyak membuat keputusan. Keadaan ini tidak cuma disebabkan oleh ketidakpastian; ia juga berkait rapat dengan isu pengawalan diri. Kelesuan dari membuat keputusan akan menjadi lebih teruk apabila individu tidak berupaya untuk mengurus emosi. Hal ini boleh menjadikan individu terumbang-ambing antara ingin menangguhkan kerja dan ingin membuat keputusan impulsif.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pengawalan emosi memainkan peranan penting di sini. Seperti yang disarankan oleh seorang pengkaji, kesedaran emosi iaitu keupayaan untuk mengenal pasti, memahami, dan mengawal perasaan adalah sangat penting. Kesedaran emosi akan membantu mengurangkan kesukaran dalam proses membuat keputusan. Apabila individu dengan ADHD kekurangan kemahiran ini, ia boleh menjejaskan keyakinan diri mereka, meningkatkan tekanan, dan memberi kesan negatif terhadap interaksi di tempat kerja.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Antara cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kelesuan membuat keputusan bagi individu dengan ADHD adalah:<\/span><b><\/b><\/p><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Latihan Kesedaran Emosi <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; antara strategi yang digunakan oleh peserta dalam satu kajian ADHD untuk mengenali emosi sendiri adalah dengan menulis jurnal. Peserta mencatat perasaan apabila berdepan dengan situasi dimana dia harus membuat pilihan di tempat kerja dan mencatat emosi yang dirasakan pada waktu tersebut.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Penapis Keputusan <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; buat satu <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to-do-list <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">secara rawak, tulis semua tugas yang perlu dilakukan. Kemudian,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bahagikan setiap tugas kepada pecahan yang kecil. Di setiap pecahan tersebut, anda boleh letakkan tarikh.
